How Do I Clear the Page Cache?

This article provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide on effectively clearing the cache on the server side of your website.

When you log in to your website's CMS as an administrator, you will have access to the CMS Admin top bar. This top bar will be visible on every page of your website, both on the frontend and the backend.

One of the options available on this admin bar is the ‘Cache Options’, which allows you to clear your server-side cache.

There are two options to choose from:

  1. Clear cache - Selecting this option will clear the cache for every page on your website. This is a great choice if you have made changes on multiple pages. However, you should know that your website’s cache takes some time to rebuild. Using this option too frequently within a short period may cause your website to slow down, especially during busy periods.
  2. Purge this URL - By choosing this option, you can clear the cache for the current page only. This is particularly useful if you are constantly making changes to a single page, as it will not affect the rest of your site or impact page load speed for site visitors.
