# 5. How to Create a Blog
## Learn how to create a blog with these steps. Plus get some useful tips on how to make sure they're optimised.
Video Tutorial:
1\. Click 'Posts'.
2\. On the 'Posts' page, you will see all the different information about each post or blog.

3\. Click 'Add New'.
4\. Input all the necessary parts of the blog starting from the title.
The title is going to come across as your H1. So make sure you have a keyword in there. For any blog, you want to make sure that you have 4 or 5 strategic words placed in there.
5\. Utilise the different formats of the text within the blog in the drop down menu.
6\. To add an internal link, just highlight the text and click the link icon. Then paste or type the link you want to use.
7\. Tag the necessary categories that are aligned with the blog or post you're creating.
8\. Click 'Set featured image' to upload the main image of the blog or post.
Make sure to add the image's Alt Text for SEO purposes.
9\. In the 'SEO' section, add your meta data to increase your SEO standing.
10\. Under the 'Content Analysis' section, add your keywords. Make sure to also utilise this tool to cross check if you've completed everything needed for SEO.
11\. Choose if you want to share the post publicly. If you prefer to share it with specific persons only, tag it as Private.
12\. Click 'Social' to manage how your post will appear on your social media channels.
13\. Click 'Preview' to check if everything is as you see fit. Or if there are still necessary changes needed to be done.
14\. Click 'Publish'.
