# How to Update a Page or Post URL

## Learn how to update the URL of any of your pages or posts. Just follow these simple steps.

1\. Click 'Pages'.

2\. Navigate to the page you want to edit. Hover over the post and click 'Quick Edit'.

3\. Update the slug to the desired URL string.

4\. Click 'Update'.

For example, you can change ‘search-jobs to ‘jobs’, and the URL will be updated from ‘www.yoursite.com/search-jobs’ to ‘www.yoursite.com/jobs’.

Follow the exact same steps for posts. Except, start with going into the 'Posts' tab.
