Manage Facebook Open Graph and Twitter Cards Metas

Learn about your Facebook OG and Twitter cards, and how to manage them on your Applyflow portal.

Setup Open Graph and Twitter Cards globally

1. Click 'SEO'.

2. Click 'Social Networks'.

3. Click the iOS toggle to enable this feature (if it’s not enabled yet).

4. In the Facebook tab, check ‘Enable OG’ data.

You can also set a global default image (in case one of your posts, pages, or post type doesn’t have one) or a specific default one by custom post type for more granularity.

Do the same for Twitter and don’t forget to click ‘Save changes’.

Manage Facebook OG and Twitter Cards individually

Edit a post, page or post type.

In SEO metabox, Social tab, you can define:

  • a Facebook Title (the post title)
  • a Facebook Description (excerpt, if empty, or use the beginning lines of your content)
  • a Facebook Thumbnail (a post thumbnail, if none is used in the post)
  • a Twitter Title (the post title)
  • a Twitter Description (excerpt, if empty, or use the beginning lines of your content)
  • a Twitter Thumbnail (a post thumbnail, if none is used in the post)

Don’t forget to save your post.

About the og:image

We generate the og:image meta following this order:

  • Custom OG Image from SEO metabox
  • Post thumbnail / Product category thumbnail
  • First image of your post content
  • Global OG Image set in SEO > Social > Open Graph
